Nicole Muller reports that the town of Dennis celebrated the completion of a six-year, 65-acre salt marsh restoration project on Sesuit Neck. The project, which enlarged a culvert to increase the flow of water into Sesuit Creek marsh and repaired the accompanying bridge and road, is the largest salt marsh restoration in Massachusetts. The project was funded with $1.4 million in state and federal grants, $300,000 from the town, and $150,000 from the Sesuit Neck Homeowners Association.
